Susan Boyle is officially a worldwide phenomenon. After breaking the record for the fastest-selling debut album in U.K. history, Boyle has conquered American shores as well with I Dreamed a Dream.

This Sunday I watched the news on our Spanish television, and a headline with a short report came up. “Susan Boyle’s debut CD sets Amazon pre-ordered sales record”. I do not recall to have heard Susan sing any song for the Album, I Dreamed a Dream, in the trailer, but I remembered a picture of the “woman”; …”ugly” even a little “silly” looking, with a terrible haircut and hairy eyebrows.
